"There are times in life when we don't know what to pray for or how to pray.
Sometimes we might even feel like we can't come to God with our needs or
requests. There are many things that we feel stand in our way of coming to
God with our prayers. Guilt and shame may make us wonder how He could
possibly hear a prayer about a certain area. We may feel so guilty that we
doubt that God would even want to hear from us? Some of us have such low
self esteem that we may wonder why God would even take the time to listen?
Or question how He could care about something as trivial as our need or
request. Others of us may be so angry with God for things we've lost or
experienced that we don't want to come Him. We feel that He's let us down,
allowed us misery or has taken something from us and want nothing to do with
Him. At times we ask "Why, bother?" We've been praying and God hasn't been
answering. Or maybe He answered and we didn't like the answer He gave.
Maybe, like many people, you feel like praying has to be some elaborate
thing with special words or mantras included in order to reach God. We feel
at times like if we don't get it right it won't get answered. Other reasons
we don't pray is we don't have time or feel like making personal requests is
selfish so we spend the prayer time we do take on others.

All of these are real and valid feelings that truly keep us from praying.
But nevertheless, we need to pray. If you have felt any of these or other
reasons and they have kept you from praying - please let us know. We would
love to pray for you and with you. We have a passion for prayer and have
seen countless answered prayers. We would love the opportunity to share
your burden so you don't have to carry it alone.

We would like to hear the report of what God has done as a result of your
prayers as well. We at Abundant Place get very excited and encouraged as we
get the reports of the incredible things that take place as a result of
diligent and faith filled prayers.

Please don't try to do life alone. First of all, you don't have to try to
carry your burdens alone and secondly, allow us to have the privilage of
sharing in your victories.

The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 GNB "Two are better of than one,
because together they can work more effectively. If one of them falls down,
the other can help him up. But if someone is alone...there is no one there
to help him...two men can resist an attack that would defeat one man alone."
